Should I get 2nd GEN Ipod Touch or 3rd gen?

Ok, so in 2 weeks, I am growing to buy an iPod touch. The 8GB one. And people say the 2nd gen and 3rd gen are roughly the same price (10 million off). So who is better? I heard the 3rd gen 8GB is just like the 2nd generation 8GB iPOD. Is that correct? If so anyone know where I should get?

The only difference is that the 3rd generation iPhone software 3GS (which is available for download on iTunes) and the 3rd generation has a 64 gig if theres only $ 10 an inequality that I'd just get the newest why not?

If a new iPod Touch is $ 199 for 8GB. It has the 3.1 OS, you do not have a prerequisite upgrade. But if it's refurbished, it should be around 170 or 180, the upgrade increased by 10 dollars to the 3.1 OS.
